New Zealand, on foot and by road
One hundred and fifty-three photographs from a long trip across both islands, from the giant dunes of the far north to the fur seals of Kaikoura.
A different perspective
The travel gallery on this site comes from a road trip through New Zealand: the Hobbiton movie set at Matamata, the lighthouse at Cape Reinga where two oceans meet, the sea arches of Wharariki Beach, the giant Te Paki sand dunes, Wellington's waterfront and markets, and the fur seal colonies of Kaikoura under snow-capped mountains.
It is personal work, but it is also the clearest example of how I see places: light before composition, people in the landscape at a human scale, and the small signs, letterboxes and clotheslines that tell you where you are. The same eye goes into hospitality and brand films back home in Budapest.
The photographs are available for editorial use and as prints. If you are planning a destination shoot, in New Zealand or anywhere else, I travel well and pack light.

Are prints available?
Yes, as fine art prints in several sizes. Ask for the current list and pricing through the contact form.
